Why did the king punish the man without a wedding robe? | September 15, 2025

As Jesus retells the parable of the wedding feast, he changes it slightly, and mentions that the king sees a guest without a wedding robe, and ties him up and throws him out. Was that fair? Why did he do that? Let’s find out together as we read Matthew 22:1-14 and 1 Kings 21.
